Corberan replaces the sacked Ruben Baraja, with Valencia sitting 19th in LaLiga having won just two matches this season.

Valencia reportedly paid West Brom around £3million to activate a release clause in Corberan's contract.

Corberan had been in charge at The Hawthorns since October 2022, having joined from Huddersfield Town, who he led to third place in the Championship in the 2021-22 season.

West Brom finished ninth in the second tier in 2022-23, and fifth in the following campaign, before being knocked out in the play-off semi-finals. They sit seventh as it stands this term.

Albion have reached an agreement in principle for Carlos Corberán to depart the club to pursue a new opportunity with La Liga side Valencia.The 41-year-old is set to return to his homeland with our gratitude and best wishes following a two-year tenure at The Hawthorns.
